CRCHUM
DFuse is proud to collaborate with CRCHUM to create the annual testimonial video for the Concert contre le Cancer. This important event allows us to highlight inspiring stories while supporting an essential cause.
Three editions. One institution. Productions that mattered.
The Concert contre le Cancer of the Montreal Cancer Institute is one of the most important benefit events in the Quebec medical community, an annual evening that mobilizes the scientific, medical, and philanthropic community around a common cause: advancing oncology research. For three consecutive years, DFuse handled all promotional and official video production for the event.
A mandate that goes beyond filming.
Producing for a foundation of this magnitude means accepting a high level of creative, human, and institutional demands. Our role was not to film interviews. It was to create video productions capable of conveying CRCHUM's mission to donors, the general public, and philanthropic partners, year after year.
Three productions. Three angles. One goal: to mobilize.
Productions 1 & 2 — Research, told by those who do it.
Testimonials from CRCHUM doctors and researchers. The progress of oncology research, rigorously and accessibly explained by the experts who dedicate their careers to it. This type of production requires precise interview direction, sober visual presentation, and mastery of editing rhythm, so that science is understood, felt, and memorable.
Production 3 — The testimonial that changes everything.
A patient diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Her daughter by her side. A story of struggle, cutting-edge medicine, and time gained against the disease thanks to research advancements. This type of production is not treated like an ordinary shoot. Every decision regarding framing, lighting, and narrative construction is guided by a single priority: respecting the dignity of the people in front of the camera while delivering authentic emotion, without artifice.
This is the most difficult content to succeed with. It is also the one that generates the most real impact on an audience.
Three renewed mandates. Trust built on delivery.
This three-year partnership is not due to chance. It reflects an ability to operate professionally in an institutional context that demands high-level stakeholders, topics of high human sensitivity, large-scale public dissemination, and deadlines that leave no room for improvisation.
